DESCRIPTION:Dissection Club is designed to engage all anatomy enthusiasts and to make learning through dissection accessible to anyone who wants to learn. We gather an enthusiastic group of forever learners to pursue a better understanding of the human body through cadaveric dissection. All students\, educators\, and practicing clinicians interested in furthering their knowledge of human anatomy are welcome and encouraged to sign up. \nDissection Club meets one Wednesday each month at our lab space in Charlotte\, North Carolina from 4:00-8:00pm. Each session is independent from one another so you’re welcome to join at any point and participate in one or multiple sessions. \nThe focus of each session will be honed in on different regions of the body\, highlighting structures such as the musculoskeletal system\, nervous system\, vascular network\, and/or internal organs depending on what tissue is available. Our anatomists will help you develop specific dissection techniques as you navigate the human body and learn anatomical relationships like you’ve never seen them before. \nPlease be sure to wear long pants and closed toe shoes while attending this program. SUMMARY:3-Day Whole Body Anatomical Dissection Intensive
DESCRIPTION:By participant request we are now offering a 3 Day Human Anatomy Dissection Intensive! \nJune 5-7\, 2026\, 9am-5pm each day \nCost: $1875 plus transaction fees\, $200 early registration discount\, book by April 24th with code earlybird1  \nOur 3-Day Human Dissection Intensive will give participants the opportunity to holistically explore the human body and is designed to teach anatomical structures and relationships. Participants will dissect for three full days working through the various textural layers of the human body and get to discover first hand the interconnectedness and relationships within the body.  Students will dissect the entire body layer-by-layer starting with the skin and superficial fascia then continue on to the muscle layers and deep joint structures instead of going through region-specific areas in separate sections. \nAlthough a short course\, it allows for broad study\, direct learning and hands-on study of the human body.  It is perfect as an anatomical review or for anyone with a passion and curiosity for anatomy. \nOur cadavers are embalmed with a special soft-fixed formula allowing the muscles and joints to retain more mobility and realistic colors and textures. This dissection course is ideal for physical therapists\, bodyworkers\, yoga teachers\, athletic trainers\, healthcare professionals\, teachers and students who want a deeper look inside the human body. \nOur anatomists will guide participants through the dissection process by both demonstrating dissection techniques\, differentiating structures and aiding the process as needed. No previous dissection experience is necessary\, but a strong understanding of anatomy is helpful. \nWe are grateful to our donors as they are truly our greatest teachers. Fauna is a pro at helping others understand how anatomy relates to everyday life.  She has done extensive work dissecting fascia\, and was a founding member of the Fascial Net Plastination Project creating the first full body fascia plastinate in partnership with BODY WORLDS\, The Plastinarium and The Fascia Research Society. \n  \nMelanie Bebler\, MS \nMelanie Bebler is passionate and well-informed anatomy and physiology professor with over 20 years of teaching experience. She currently teaches at Mitchell Community College. Her love of anatomy is easy to see by her enthusiasm in sharing her knowledge and fascination with the human body. \nand/or \nAmy McWaters\, PT \nExperienced educator\, speaker\, and mentor Amy is responsible for adjunct teaching doctorate-level courses (Including human anatomy) to physical and occupational therapy students. She is highly regarded as an enthusiastic and caring therapist/professor with a passion for helping treat neurological disorders\, persistent pain\, and sharing her passion for anatomy. \n  \n  \nExample of Daily Schedule\nProgram days will run 9:00am-5:00pm with an hour break for lunch. \nPlease plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time. \nSchedule will adjust as needed. SUMMARY:2-Day Whole Body Anatomical Dissection Intensive
DESCRIPTION:Our 2-Day Human Dissection Intensive will give participants the opportunity to holistically explore the human body and is designed to teach anatomical structures and relationships. Participants will dissect for two full days working through the various textural layers of the human body and get to discover first hand the interconnectedness and relationships within the body.  Students will dissect the entire body layer-by-layer starting with the skin and superficial fascia then continue on to the muscle layers and deep joint structures instead of going through region-specific areas in separate sections. \nAlthough a short course\, it allows for broad study\, direct learning and hands-on study of the human body.  It is perfect as an anatomical review or for anyone with a passion and curiosity for anatomy. \nOur cadavers are embalmed with a special soft-fixed formula allowing the muscles and joints to retain more mobility and realistic colors and textures. This dissection course is ideal for physical therapists\, bodyworkers\, yoga teachers\, athletic trainers\, or healthcare professionals who want a deeper look inside the human body. \nOur anatomists will guide participants through the dissection process by both demonstrating dissection techniques\, differentiating structures and aiding the process as needed. Fauna is a pro at helping others understand how anatomy relates to everyday life.  She has done extensive work dissecting fascia\, and was a founding member of the Fascial Net Plastination Project creating the first full body fascia plastinate in partnership with BODY WORLDS\, The Plastinarium and The Fascia Research Society. \n  \nMelanie Bebler\, MS \nMelanie Bebler is passionate and well-informed anatomy and physiology professor with over 20 years of teaching experience. She currently teaches at Mitchell Community College. Her love of anatomy is easy to see by her enthusiasm in sharing her knowledge and fascination with the human body. \nor \nAmy McWaters\, PT \nExperienced educator\, speaker\, and mentor Amy is responsible for adjunct teaching doctorate-level courses (Including human anatomy) to physical and occupational therapy students.
