During this interactive virtual session we will review the basic anatomical structures and functions of the respiratory system. We will review the pathway air takes to enter the lungs and discuss how respiration occurs at the level of the alveoli. Participants will be guided through a dissection of sheep lungs to gain a more thorough understanding of the respiratory system by our resident anatomist! Everything you need to learn and perform the dissection is included!
This is a virtual event! Two sessions will be held from 4:30-6pm EST & 7-8:30pm EST. We will ship you a sheep lung dissection activity kit. Please make sure you register HERE by May 9th, 2021 to ensure your activity kit arrives in time. If you live outside of the United States please register by May 1st, 2021 for adequate shipping time.
