During this interactive virtual session we will review the basic anatomical structures of the brain and the neuron cells that make up the brain. We will discuss nerve impulses and how neurons communicate within the brain. Participants will be guided through a dissection of two sheep brains to gain a more thorough understanding of the structure of the brain by our resident anatomist! Everything you need to learn and perform the dissection is included!
This is a virtual event! Two sessions will be held from 4:30-6pm EST & 7-8:30 EST. We will ship you a brain dissection activity kit. Please make sure you register HERE by March 1st, 2021 to ensure your activity kit arrives in time. If you live outside of the United States please register by April 23rd 1st, 2021 for adequate shipping time.
